Experienced Structural & Industrial Welder/Fabricator
W-2 Employees & Rig Welders Welcome
Powell Welding is hiring experienced structural welders/fabricators for commercial, industrial, and mining projects. Work includes both shop fabrication and field installation.
STRUCTURAL WELDING EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.
This is NOT a pipeline welding position. Pipeline-only welding experience does not meet the experience requirements for this role.
We are open to both W-2 employees using company equipment and qualified rig welders/subcontractors with their own equipment.
What You'll Do
Structural steel welding, fitting, and fabrication
FCAW, MIG, and stick welding
Read and work from blueprints and shop drawings
Fabricate and fit structural and miscellaneous steel
Perform shop and field work, including installation and erection support
Produce clean, quality work that meets project requirements
What We're Looking For
Proven structural welding and fabrication experience
Strong fitting and layout skills
Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings
Commercial and/or industrial experience
Welding certifications
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
Ability to travel and work varying schedules as projects require
OSHA, forklift, rigging, and aerial lift certifications are a plus
